Good post. I hope this doesn't happen...I posted it on my facebook with the note saying how I would move out of the country if it happened. Got a bit of flack for that. But honestly, I would have a lot of trouble wanting to be a citizen of a country that restricted something as basic as the ability to grow your own food on your own land. Whoever wrote the bill needs to be tarred and feathered and rode out of town on a rail. Why don't they do that anymore?
As for the song, awesome. Some of my fondest memories (sad, I know) are of me and a few other friends sitting in an old junkie's small room, smoking pot and listening to this song on an old record player. We'd all rail against the pusherman, all the while as high as kites and probably wondering where we'd get our next score of dope.
Rancher, farmer, horseman, writer. Ex-convict. Former marijuana smuggler.
Aspire to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. Don't always succeed.
The Jesus I believe in was an outlaw. So hated, he received the death penalty.
I don't like organized religion, so don't try to save me. Jesus, Abraham and Mohammed worshiped the same God; all would abhor what's being done in their name today.
